The Queensland Government’s 2025-26 Budget is delivering a permanent $500,000 funding boost to the State’s agricultural show societies.
Each of Queensland’s 129 Ag Shows will receive an additional $3846 on top of their historical annual allocation.
Member for Scenic Rim, Jon Krause, has welcomed the funding boost.
“I know how important this will be for the six annual shows in our electorate,” he said.
“The importance of our agricultural shows cannot be overstated. They provide a valuable space for community engagement, help foster local economies and support the agricultural sector.”
