The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has commenced road surface improvement works on a 2.2km section of Ipswich-Boonah Road, between Limestone Ridges Road in Peak Crossing and Le Grande Road in Washpool.
The improvements are expected to be completed in late October, subject to change due to wet weather and contractor availability. Work will be carried out between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, including weekends and nights if required.
Traffic delays of up to 10 minutes can be expected and motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time.
