The $95 million Mount Lindesay Highway upgrade at Jimboomba is now complete, delivering a safer, four-lane route that eases congestion and improves daily journeys for locals, commuters and freight.
Delivered on time and on budget, it was jointly funded by the Queensland and Australian Governments.
Member for Scenic Rim, Jon Krause, said the project would support Jimboomba’s growth, with upgraded intersections, improved school area safety, and better connections for people walking and riding.
“Once a two-lane bottleneck, the upgraded section of 1.5 kilometres between Johanna Street and South Street will reduce travel time for more than 25,000 vehicles a day,” he said.
