Queensland women returning to work can access up to $5000 in support through the LNP Government’s Women’s Career Grants program.
They can apply for grants to assist with the costs of workwear, childcare, training, recertification, relocation, tools or technology.
Member for Scenic Rim, Jon Krause, said the $20 million program would support women who wanted to get back into work after career breaks such as caring for children, periods of family sickness, or relationship breakdowns.
“The grants will provide support where it is most needed, whether it is about childcare to attend job interviews, covering relocation or transport costs, or purchasing workwear,” he said.
