GAMBLING COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND ROUND 125 OPEN

The Queensland Government is calling for applications for the next round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.

Round 125 offers grants of up to $35,000 to support not-for-profit clubs and organisations.

The Gambling Community Benefit Fund is Queensland’s largest one-off community grants program and provides benefits and key services to communities, including facility and accessibility improvements, medical equipment, transportation support, leisure and sporting equipment, and domestic and family violence initiatives.

Member for Scenic Rim, Jon Krause has encouraged groups across the electorate to apply for funding to help deliver projects and activities that are important to their community.

“Whether it’s a sporting club, P&C, or local charity, these groups are at the heart of their community and the grant funding on offer can go a long way in supporting them.”

Applications for Round 125 close at midnight on 31 October.

The Gambling Community Benefit Fund will provide around $60 million for local initiatives this year.
