Member for Scenic Rim, Jon Krause, has met with the Minister for Transport and officials of Translink in a follow-up to earlier discussions he held with Tamborine Mountain Chamber of Commerce on the issue of public transport to and from the mountain.
A long-term advocate of public transport for Tamborine Mountain, he described the discussions, which were focussed on the Chamber’s push for an improved timetable, as positive.
He was hopeful of an official response from Translink, with recommendations for future services to and from Helensvale, toward the end of September.
