State Member for Scenic Rim, Jon Krause, said Round 122 of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund – Queensland’s largest one-off community grants programme – was now open.
“Closure is midnight on 30 November and applications can be submitted for funding between a minimum of $500 and a maximum of $35,000,” he said.
The fund, which is administered by the Department of Justice and Attorney-General, distributes approximately $60 million each year to not-for-profit groups to help them to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland Communities.
Since Mr Krause’s election in 2012, Scenic Rim community organisations have received funding of some $13 million from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.
