Grants for Rural Fire-Related Damage

The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is currently administering grants of up to $10,000 under the Rural Landholder Recovery Grant Scheme

Grants are available to help rural landholders pay for the costs of clean-up and reinstatement of their primary production enterprises that suffered damage from the Southern Queensland Fires between September and November last year.

To be eligible for assistance, the primary production enterprise must be located within an eligible government area impacted by the Southern Queensland bushfires and have not already received other disaster grant or loan assistance for this event.

Eligible activities include, but are not limited to, salvaging damaged crops, grain or feed, or purchasing fodder to replace lost stock, removing and replacing deceased livestock, and repairing or restoring fields.

Application forms and related information can be accessed at: https://www.qrida.qld.gov.au/program/rural-landholder-recovery-grant-scheme.
