I am pleased to report that following correspondence to the Minister for Fire and Disaster Recovery in which I highlighted the critical issue concerning staffing levels at the Beaudesert Auxiliary Fire and Rescue Station, four new recruits have been located at the station.
I have been assured by the Minister that Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) will continue to actively monitor the risk profile of the area, the type and frequency of incidents, and any change in circumstances that would necessitate enhanced operational service delivery capability.
