Another summer gone, another State Budget and still no word from the Government about fixing the ongoing parking and congestion issues at Cedar Creek Falls.
This is a matter of significant concern to constituents residing in the local Tamborine Mountain and surrounding community.
I have made submissions to the Minister’s Office on this issue over many years now and again am compelled to ask: When will Queensland Park and Wildlife Service (QPWS) take action to address this well know and pressing problem?
What options are being explored by QPWS to mitigate the parking and congestion concerns at this location within Tamborine Mountain National Park?
In recent months, the Minister for Environment and the Great Barrier Reef has spoken in Parliament on various occasions about planned investments in particular parts of the National Park estate.
It begs the question: “Minister, when will you invest in the Cedar Creek section of our National Parks estate?
