It’s always a pleasure to visit Tamborine Mountain College and my recent attendance at its annual open day was no exception.
During my time as the State Member for Scenic Rim, I’ve been privileged to closely observe its truly remarkable growth, from small secondary school to formidable kindy-to-level-12 education campus.
Teachers, parents, visitors, and present and past students enjoyed a relaxed and informative day on May 18.
Pony rides, a petting zoo, rock climbing wall, and an inflatable obstacle course provided entertainment for the younger children, while older students acted as tour guides around the campus. Throughout the day the college lawn provided the perfect spot to sample the offerings from the various food vans.
A tour of the school’s impressive facilities never ceases to surprise.
