Member for Scenic Rim, Jon Krause, has congratulated the continuing and outgoing board members of Beaucare on another outstanding year of community service at its 18th annual general meeting held in the Ken Moran Life Centre, Beaudesert.
Mr Krause, who was overseeing the appointment of new directors, also paid tribute to Beaucare’s near 100 employees.
“They do an amazing job, and I can’t thank them enough for the difference they make in so many lives in the Beaudesert area,” he said.
“The reality is that Beaucare is often the first port of call for help on a range of issues.
“If it cannot help directly, it has a great team led by its CEO that can quickly point people in the right direction.
“I wish the new board every success and look forward to 2024 being a year of further achievement. I will continue to support its ongoing efforts to attract State Government funding and assist it with any other issues.”
Beaucare provides a broad range of community services, including childcare, family support, youth development, and services for the frail, aged, and people with a disability.
